Tropical Nut Oil is the result of a selective manufacturing process using a specific blend of macadamia nut, Brazil nut, almond, peanut and coconut oils. The unique composition of the various oils is designed to ensure an optimal supply of various essential fatty acids for your parrots.

The fatty acids contained in the composition have different biochemical characteristics and act in different areas of the organism of your parrots. Special attention is paid to omega-3 fatty acids, essential for maintaining the integrity of the nervous system and the structure of cell membranes.

They potentially exhibit anti-inflammatory properties and play an important role in the prevention of cardiovascular disease.

The coconut oil in the blend provides a significant amount of medium chain fatty acids (MCFAs), including lauric acid. These MCFAs are a beneficial alternative to long chain saturated fatty acids because they are relatively easy for the bird’s body to digest.

Additionally, lauric acid is said to have an antimicrobial effect, further underscoring the health benefits of coconut oil.

The careful composition of these different oils aims to provide a balanced spectrum of fatty acids to support the nutritional needs of your parrots while optimising the effects on physiological processes, which can promote improved health and endurance.

Directions for use:

Mix 10 to 20 ml per 1 kg of pellets, 2-3 times a week. Our vital pellets absorb oils and thus retain the essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals of the oil mixture. Mix well and feed completely.
