Ear mites infestation (Otodectes cynotis), yeast like Malassezia, allergens, and ear contaminants could cause otitis externa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The signs to look for include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Foul-smelling ears<\/li>\n<li>Ear scratching and\/or head shaking<\/li>\n<li>Discharge from the ear<\/li>\n<li>Crusted or scabby skin under the ear flap<\/li>\n<li>Swelling or redness around the ear<\/li>\n<li>Reluctance to have head touched<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Indications:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>For the topical treatment of otitis externa and skin infections caused by Gram-positive bacteria , Gram-negative bacteria, fungi and yeasts, and ear-mites. The product also has anti-inflammatory and antipruritic activity.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Important Safety Information:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Do not use in animals with perforated ear drums<\/strong>. Corticosteroids are <strong>not recommended for use in pregnant animals<\/strong>.
